One Pan Basil Shrimp Pasta

Servings: 2

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces fusili half a pack
  • 20 cherry or grape tomatoes
  • ¼ onion thinly sliced (about 2 cups)
  • 5 cloves garlic thinly sliced
  • ½ teaspoon red-pepper flakes
  • 10 Basil leaves
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups water

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to a pan, except shrimp.
  • Bring to a boil and cook for about 5 minutes.
  • Add shrimp and keep cooking in low/medium heat.
  • Cook until pasta is al dente or until liquid has been mostly absorbed.
  • Remove from heat and enjoy! 🙂
